  • Registration Now Open for 2025 Judicial Roundtable and Summit

    The Nevada Court Improvement Program is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 Judicial Roundtable and Community Improvement Council (CIC) Summit, taking place this September. This annual event brings together Nevada’s 11 Community Improvement Councils along with child welfare stakeholders from across the state. The Summit provides a valuable opportunity to share ideas, build connections, and participate in practical training focused on improving court practices and outcomes for children and families.
  • JDMP Annual Training 2025 Recap

    The Juvenile Dependency Mediation Program (JDMP), in partnership with the Mediator Training Center, hosted its annual two-day training focused on deepening mediators’ understanding of the full scope of a Child Protective Services case. The first day of training examined the professional lens, beginning with a presentation from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office about how law enforcement is often the first point of contact in dependency cases. This was followed by detailed discussions with representatives from the Washoe County Human Services Agency and the Division of Child and Family Services
  • 2022 Statewide JDMP Overiew

    The Statewide Juvenile Dependency Mediation Program (JDMP) enjoyed a wonderful year in 2022. We are excited to announce that six new mediators from across the state joined our mediator panel. In addition to the growth of our team, JDMP successfully held training conferences and developed online training modules to improve outcomes for children in Nevada's welfare system.
