Judge Jennifer Klapper

Judge Jennifer Klapper began her career with Tonopah Justice Court in 1998 as a part-time clerk, advancing to court administrator prior to being elected to the bench. She has served as Justice of the Peace since 2013 and was appointed Juvenile Hearing Master by the 5th Judicial District Court in 2014. Currently, Judge Klapper is a member of several professional organizations and serves on their various boards and committees. Judge Klapper grew up in Northern Nevada and graduated from Tonopah High School. She is married to her husband John, and they have four daughters and a sweet new grandbaby. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, fishing and traveling – and now being a grandma too!
