Trial Court Improvement ARPA Subgrant

Program Overview

The AOC’s Trial Court Improvement ARPA Subgrant is open to Nevada trial courts seeking grant funding of up to $200,000 for the completion of projects in areas including, but not limited to: USJR, for projects improving the ability to provide accurate and timely mandatory USJR statistical information to the Nevada Supreme Court; trial court improvement for projects in the areas of technology, security, and court interpreters; training for judges and court staff; and projects designed to improve public access to justice.

1. Download and carefully read the Trial Court Improvement ARPA Subgrant Program Policies and Guidelines.

2. Complete required documents (Refer to pages 4-5 of the Trial Court Improvement ARPA Subgrant Program Policies and Guidelines for additional details and instructions).

A. Fully completed cover sheet

B. Project narrative - addressing the following components:

i. Statement of Problem

ii. Project Design and Implementation

iii. Capacity to Manage Project

iv. Plan for Evaluation of Project Success

C. Budget worksheet and vendor quote(s) – at least one, current quote is required for projects less than $50,000. Applicants requesting funds of $50,000 or more must include three current vendor quotes.

D. Completed assurances form signed by authorized court representative (judge or court administrator)

3. Submit completed application packet to:

B. Applications must be received/ postmarked by April 30, 2024 in order to be considered.
